need advice

Greetings. I have aprox. 20 acres of ***** willow on land that we bought some time ago. We want to start working the land, to grow various crops. How can I get rid of these ***** willows?

I'm sure they are senative to some chemical or you could brush hog them down depending on their size! Call you county agent! I don't have that problem but vine maple and alder are my pita!
