Need advice!

Ok... Need serious advice. I'm about to make a great deal or a big mistake. I found a 2010 kioti ck27 with loader, back blade , hydro transmission and 60 hours of light use... Comes with a nearly new Anderson heavy duty trailer... All in: 14k! There is not a scratch on the tractor. Should I upgrade from my b2320? My woods b70x would fit I think... Just need to get a new subframe. Love my kubota but I am being a bit rough on it as it gets a lot of use and it seems a bit too light and underpowered for field work. From what I understand, kioti makes a good machine, and this one specifically is almost twice as heavy..... Help! I think I could sell my b for 9-10 k..,.

There's a 2011 on tractor house for 16 Gs with mower 29 hours. I would go for it.

Sounds like a good deal.
Not sure your going to gain the additional power your looking for, for your field work.
Make sure if you spend the money to upsize you go big enough.

Sounds like a great deal. I suspect for backhoeing and heavy loader work, it will be a significant upgrade, especially if it has loaded tires. I know my CK25 as TLB has be a real workhorse. A buddy of mine has a B21 TLB and it's not nearly as effective at digging, pushing, or ground engagement. I think it's the weight difference. The B21 just seems to be very light compared to my 6000 lb Kioti.

I loved my CK30 HST with Woods BH-70X, and the only diff. with the CK27 is a couple hp. With loaded tires, it was a VERY heavy machine for 30hp. Here's the negs. to the tractor. 3rd gear is not very useful, it needs more power to move that much weight that fast. The FEL could be a little stronger. This one is a little misleading though. I think the problem is that the tractor is so heavy, when you push into a pile you're able to take too big of a bite and you're lifting against the weight of the tractor. I found I would often have to start backing out of the pile before I could lift it. It will lift a lot more than a b2320 though.

I went from a JD 955 that was about 1700# + FEL & cab, to the CK30 that was 3200# + FEL & BH, pretty close to what you're considering. The difference was astonishing! Trying to break ground with the JD was difficult, while the CK30 could easily take scoops, there was no comparison pulling a box blade or working in the snow. With 3 less hp, the CK30 felt and worked like it was twice the size of the JD.

I would buy it. I love my dk40 just not my dealer where i bought it. I could touch a kioti dk40 in maine they asked way more . I needed the best deal sense we took a loan out to help a non profit that is having a hard time getting grants and other funding because it first starting out . So the land that was donated need a road and the massey freguson i had just wasn't doing it but when we bought the dk40 the road was done in a month.
I got a call last night from my grandfather that the farm down the road from our old farm that only bought john deere for more then 40years just returned There new 100 hp john deere to many issues in less then a month. And there are having a dk50 se hst and a dk 40se hst and ck 30 for the grandchildren to use on the farm. I think you would be happy with the kioti

He's not buying a DK series, he might buy a CK-27.

It sounds like it might do what you need it to, depending on what you are expecting it to accomplish for its weight class, HP range and hydro trans. However I would caution to look not just at current need but also consider possible future need for the same reasons you are now thinking about trading up.
If you plan to do a lot of hoe work etc. over time you may want to consider forgoing this deal in light of what you might get out of a DK series Kioti.
Most bang for the buck in most TBN Kioti owner's opinions, and mine as well, and many of the dealers who are frequent visitors to this site, is the DK-40 series is the sweet spot for the Kioti line-up.
The other thing that occurs to me is the current deal includes a trailer which does nothing for your tractor capacity increase- it only spends part of your purchase dollars for something you may not have wanted or needed INSTEAD of further increased capacity.

You're right, having owned both, there's a difference between a CK and DK (although, I disagree with the DK40 being the sweet spot). The CK27 is a big step up from a b2320, it is more equivalent to an L2800 with a lot more bells and whistles and a little more weight. Yes, if he wants to keep going, the DK line is an upgrade again, and believe me, a big one. But if his needs were for a DK40-50, it's hard to imagine he would have bought a B series Kubota in the first place. Only the OP can say what his needs are, and having bought 3 tractors in 3 years, I agree, get what you'll need tomorrow today, but what he is looking at is easily twice the tractor he has now. Since the OP may not know Kioti as well as Kubota, the CK lines up (very favorably) to the standard L series Kubota and the DK series lines up against the Grand L Kubota. There's always a bigger, better, fancier and WAY more expensive tractor in the next field.

Yes i bought the dk40se hst for the use of helping a non-profit and when i pay it off i will give it to the non profit for there future use. When i do that i will be buying a small hp tractor most likely a ck or a mf. I looked at ck27 but went with a dk knowing what the retreat would need it for.

Yes, I agree a CK is a step up from the Kubota he has currently, otherwise he likely wouldn't be considering it in the first place

I'm just suggesting the OP consider for the further reaching future, as well as near future, what his needs are likely to be. If a CK-27 and various implements are adequate then all is well. If, however he is just seeing a shiny almost new tractor deal that could for now, but might not for later meet his needs then go at it eyes open wide.
Regarding a real medium duty work horse in a compact tractor I would say that in the Kioti line up the DK-40 is the real deal, priced right, weight right, sturdiness right, etc., etc. I'm NOT knocking in any way the CK series, I have no experience with them, except what I've read here. Would you say from your own experience with having owned both series, that the CK is to the DK, what the Kubota in question is to the CK?

There's bigger more expensive tractors out there than mine?!
