Hello guys! I just got back from a local dealer with blue and orange in CT (Kahn Tractor) they didn't have a B2710 there today but I sat on the B2910. I sat on a TC21D - TC25D - TC29D and compared the comfort to the B7500 and the B2910. I am 6'2" 300lbs and the TC25D was so comfortabe I was very happy, and the sloped hood was much better to see the loader in a lowered position. Even the TC21D was more leg room and better comfort including the seat than the B2910! The B2910 with the seat adjusted all the way back was still uncomfortable haveng to lift my foot closer to my body to work the brake pressing my knee towards my gut. The leg room on the B7500 is NO DIFFERENT than the B2910 to me they are both cramped and less comfortable than the TC21D-25D-29D so I would take a Blue over a orange any time as far as comfort and leg room. I will still buy a B2710 if orange is a tougher more reliable machine (able to handle tougher loader and backhoe work) than the Blue TC25D those tractors seem to be a even in size to me. I had grabbed a stack of literature and prices stapled to it about all the tractors I was interested in and forgot it in my friends car ARRRRRGGGGG! I have to head over there tonight 40 mile round trip to get it. All I can say is the Blue are more leg room and comfortabe for me but I could still handle the comfort of the 2710 if it is a better built machine. I would be happy if I end up being able to take advantage of the 0% 12 month financing with a 25% deposit for the blue. I don't think I can get that 0% 12 month financing with orange. I felt like a idiot not knowing how to work the tractors and didn't bother getting to the point of a test drive maybe next time. I just want a reliable strong tractor for my hard earned money. I apreciate all comments from everybody. The stick to work the loader seems to be in a better place on the blue, what do you think? Franco

Go to the service department and ask the mechanics, what they recommend.Don't be sureprized if they tell you NH.

Franco, if you didn't like the feel of the B2910, you ain't gonna like the B2710 either because it's the same chassis. And you say you like the location of the loader stick better on the New Holland; that's one of the things I don't like as well on my cousin's New Holland. So . .., we're just talking about personal preferences. Don't buy a tractor that you're not comfortable with in the beginning; I think it'll get worse with time instead of better. Buy the one that "feels" right to you. Everyone knows I have a pretty strong preference for Kubota, but that New Holland is a nice tractor and good quality, so us orange owners won't be mad if you buy blue. Heck, we even put with JimBinMI./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I went to Kahn tractor also, I would shop around. We need much more competition in CT, I have not found one with good pricing and it hurts me to send my money out of the state, something I have always looked down on. The NH are very nice tractors, if you are more comfortable in it that is the one for you.

The big tractor names are all high quality and have devoted, satisfied customers. Other things being equal in your mind, go with the one that is more comfortable and that you like better. You will be spending a lot of time on it and with it.

If I were buying new, I'd buy the one that I LIKED THE BEST!! Wouldn't really matter if it were Orange, Blue, Green, Yellow; whatever color. If the New Holland "feels" the best, everything else would probably be a comprimise.

Franco, after reviewing all the posts I was all set to add my 2 cents but then realized that you are in CT, and I was thinking CA. I ran into a wall out here in California with the larger New Holland tractors. (TC 40 or TC45). Nobody in my general area has them and no information is available at the NH dealers. I asked NH for some literature and never got it. I finally gave up figuring Northern California is just not Boomer country, but it is huge tractor country. There are plenty of BIG New Holland machines, some of the little machines up to the TC 33, but thats about it. There is no doubt that for homeowners, Kubotas are far and away the most popular followed by John Deere and New Holland. If New Holland could get some merchandise to these dealers or perhaps these dealers get some New Holland merchandise as the case may be, I believe their presence could be greater. There is no doubt that the ergonomics of the smaller NH is very good. Good Luck , Rat...
