Need Good Quality Gear Box

Howdy Folks.

I have a need to buy a couple of gear boxes and don't know who to get them from.

One is for a john deere 616 bush hog. JD wanted $800 for new one. Want to buy a good quality after market box. Anyone know who makes these for JD? Says made in spain
on gear box.

The other is for a JD 272 3 point finish mower. This box is made by curtis. Curtis said they no longer offer a box for this mower. JD doesn't offer the entire gear box for this one. Any ideas?

I was just in Agri-supply(.com) a few days ago and priced a 40hp gearbox for a bush hog. It was 130.00 + tax. Bigger available. Type address as above and lose the parenthesis.
