need heater core help

I have a bx 1850 with a cab from the original cab company. I have a heater core with a fan I would like to install but not sure how to tap into radiator hose or where too. Can I take the small hose off and run it to the heater and then run a new one back? I have know ideal what I'm doing any help would be greatly appreciated Thank You

My dealer told me they have the tees needed.You can even put in a shutoff valve,and i was also told you can have quick disconnectors.Im about to do the same.Please post with pics

You can remove your small water pump bypass hose and plumb directly into that. This will allow the heater circuit to function as the bypass. For summer use you must replace the little bypass hose as you should never block flow through the bypass.
I do this on my Kubota powered ZTR mower with a cab every year, works great and you will only loose about a cup of coolant when you switch lines. KennyV.

So I can take the small hose off by the radiator cap hook it up to the heater then run a new line back? Is there enough flow there to keep the heater hot I'm in Minnesota i need all the heat i can get. Thank You I won't be doing this for a month or too pics will be a while.

No it is the small ½ inch diameter water pump bypass hose, It is attached to the water pump and engine at the thermostat housing, simply remove it and plumb the heater in place of that short bypass hose. You will have all the heat you want in this loop.
That tiny hose at the radiator cap is a radiator over flow and usually is hooked up to a recovery tank, or just vented below the engine. There is never any flow at that point. KennyV.
