I have a John Deere offset 8' disk. Some may remember it from my restoration project. Anyway, It pulls great and cuts great. However, the disk on the far right front will roll dirt out farther than the rear rt disk can catch and bring back in. Also, it will leave a furrow where the front rt disk travels. On a large field this is not a problem, however, I am disking fire lanes, trailes and around large fields and dont want to hollow out a trail over time. I just want to disk the dirt, leaving the same amount there was before the pass. Even though I completely disassembled the disk and put it back together, I set it exactly like it was when I got it (front and rear gang placement with respect to the frame) I will admit, that the previous owner had a smaller blade on the front rt position. Guess I know why now. I want this thing to work properly, as it was intended so I want to do the necessary adjustment.
1) Should I put the smaller blade back?
2) Should I move the entire front gang to the rt?
)This is my first non 3 pt disk so any and all advice is welcomed.
