Need help deciding. Deere is being replaced again

That's what I hear. Really looking forward to the extra gears when mowing. Should be able to get it dialed in right.

Absolutely. Was initially disappointed because they didn't follow through but when I sat down and put the pen to the paper it wasn't fair to ask them to take about a 12-15k dollar loss on everything. I think they will be breaking even at this point and I'm ok with that. Getting a heck of a better tractor and much nicer box blade but I am having to pay over 25k extra so when you think about that....it's a lot of money

I looked up the 12 speed trans and it has a top speed of 23.2 MPH. If you have to travel, 23.2 sure beats the typical 17 or 18. The 12/24 trans doesn't seem to show the top speed in a place I can find it so it's probably the same. The top end of my 5520, which is mostly an earlier version, is 16.8 and that is too slooow.

The 12/24 also includes a wet clutch and I think the tractor comes standard with wet brakes. The dry clutches and brakes on the smaller models seemed to be where there were a lot of problems so you that's a good thing.
