Cool. Thanks for this thread ... never knew you could turn off that stuff w/o cutting wires.

The steering, braking and overal ride is better in the 250, but I had added an EDGE controller in the 2500 so it had faster responce and more tourqe. The ford has some features I like better... Bigger mirrors, turnsignals out the outside of mirror where I cant see them in the corner of my eye, 60/40 bench seats, brake controller, touch panel entry, back up alarm(very handy when backing up to trailers) But the chevy had heated leather, locking axles, compas and therm in rearview,
What we need is to be able to pick our fav options from the big 3 and add them all together, with out having to get a "package". Hopefully I will plan my next purchase better and order a truck built the way I want it.
By the way Thanks again I pulled the key switch at lunch and taped the skinny L shaped contactor and no more dingy noises. Took longer to type than it did to fix

No freedom of choice if my taxes are paying any part of the medical coverage!KICK said:all in all, a seatbelt probably saves more lives than it takes.
same can be said for helmets.
it still ought to be a choice, not a law.
