Looks like my Bushhog TM-5 Serial # 1103003 it is obsolete. It looks like I can buy complete spindles for about 52 a piece.Picked up an old Bush Hog finish mower, it is a 5' mower and appears to be fairly old. Needs the usual bearings, blades and a belt, but it also has a broken spindle housing. Need to identify the model so I can try to purchase a housing or come up with a way to fix the broken one which appears to have already been welded once

You know you just burst my bubble! I built an 8 foot bush hog back in the early 90's, had custom spindles made in the machine shop I worked at, and used 5 lug trailer hubs as bearings holders! I thought I had come up with something special!!Dont know if this will help , but I have had different mowers over the years and a some of the housings were trailer wheel hubs where the lugs were bolted to the deck and spindle spun in it .
