Need help on finding the perfect tractor

WOw. I dind't know there was such a thing as a 'US" cord of wood. ALways used face cord and bush cord. You learn something new every day.

Very affordable to rent. $450 for two days and will process 20 full cords of firewood in 16 hours. How long does it take you to put up 20 cords of wood? (4x4x8’ cords...not those silly Canadian cords...lol).

OH don...you are so cute. I don't process any wood..they bring me 4 bush cords a year and the fairies stacks it for me bro.

I don't know that there is something formally called a "US" cord of wood. But cords are sized differently in different places. The same word means different things depending on where you are. BTW, what's a bush cord? I've never heard the term.

One of the problem that firewood sellers can never agree on here is high tight a cord of wood should be stacked. It makes a difference in the amount of wood in the cord. Is there a local rule of thumb for how tight a cord is stacked there?

Some people here sell by "rough cord" which they measure as so many FEL bucketloads dumped randomly into a truck bed. And others sell by weight.

Rental, is very likely not an available option for the OP, in rural Western Quebec.

I love Canada's metric system. You can drive 80, 90 even 120 up there. :laughing:
