Oh sorry. I meant to list the number and totally forgot. The screen is the part 12 on the diagram.

So you will have to follow one of those thick suction lines. From the last picture, it looks like to be the largest one that also have a rubber hose on the HST side.

Part #12 (screen) has a nut on the end, just unscrew it and slide it out.
It takes a large socket. Some of the early and small yanmars were this way.
If your 3 point squeals or shakes, its probably this screen is plugged (#12).
Be careful not to poke a hole in it.
