Need help with weight distribution of my equipment (PICS)

I agree a WD hitch is a good idea but there is no way it will be needed behind a 1 ton Dodge Dually pulling that 8K load. Now if he were pulling more weight it may be needed but not for a 8k load behind a 1 ton dually of any make or model.

With a 1-Ton Dodge Dually, he should be able to load the BobCat up
front without any problem. the truck shouldn't squat at all.

And its not a good ideal to have all the weight behind the front axle and hanging off the back of the trailer.

Alright, I'll give that a try next time I get a chance. I can't use a weight distribution hitch because I don't think it will work since my trailer uses a pintle coupler. Thanks.

If you can spare the room in the truck bed, you could gain a few pounds on the truck by putting the box blade in with the skid loader. (You need to get rid off that stock box and get a flatbed. Make it much more usable. LOL)

Once you get your plates on and make some test runs, find a nice quiet scale and get some axle weight readings for peace of mind if nothing else. I too do not see the need for a weight distribution hitch but you do want adequate weight on the truck's rear axle.

In the end, if you still cannot get comfortable with your present setup, would it be feasable to modify your trailer jack? Maybe remove the center jack and put one on either side?
