You can also contact Bob directly at rpiro.mie@tds.net.

And this is why MIE has such a great reputation.

I figured it was a technology related issue and not a personnel one. If I had been in a rush for parts I would have called.

I did re-send my e-mail to the parts address this morning and it is likewise from a g-mail account.

Thanks for your patience, we are going to look at the firewall again. We have sent 3 test messages, they came through...we have not seen yours.

Welcome to my everyday job.

Firewalls are great when they work like we expect them too and they are a bear to diagnose & straighten out when they do what we actually told them to do. :confused2:

We have been informed by our Service Provider that all contact information is now working. Somewhere in Cyberspace floats some unanswered request for info. We appologize for any incomvenience this caused, and thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks folks! I'm going to go with my existing rear remotes and just get a set of hoses made... It's the cheapest option and if I feel I need something different later, I can do that...

Any recommendations on type/size of quick connects and hose? How about a hydraulic hose shop? I just don't know where to go..

BTW, since I've owned my CUT, I've never had the hoe or FEL off of it... I swap out the bucket now and then for pallet forks, but never needed to remove either.

Thanks again!!

Crabjoe,
I bought ready made 1/2" hydraulic hose and all quick connect fittings from my local TSC store. Ran them from the rear remotes to the front and secured with zip ties. I can use whatever front hydraulic attachment I have and control with the remote lever in the cab. My cost for everything was around $200. and I bought extra QA fitting to have in stock. I use the front lines for my QA PA truck plow and hydraulic thumb on my forks. Attached is a list of what I bought with part numbers.

George,

Thanks for the info, but I went ahead and order the Front Hydraulic hose kit from Bob @ Michigan Iron yesterday. There's 2 reasons I went with them. 1st I needed filters for CK20S HST and the 2nd was that I didn't want to have to try and figure out which way I needed to route the hoses to take a measurement. A plus is that I'm dealing with one company.

BTW, what I was told about MIE's kit is that it comes with everything.. 4 hoses, 90 couplers for the rear, bracket by the FEL to allow disconnect of FEL without having to remove any hoses, and a torque tube bracket to hold the end couplers. I requested a male and female Ag couplers for the front end. $350 wasn't the best price, but it works for me since I don't have to figure out how to route the hoses nor take measurements.

Oh... one other thing... I hate my local Tractor Supply... They always seem to be over priced and last fall I needed some acetylene. I called them to let them know my exchange bottle was owned by me and was not purchased from them. They said come in and it wasn't a problem. Yeah right.... I go in and they won't do the exchange because it's not a blue throughbred or whatever brand they carry.. They didn't care that my bottle was DOT and there was no ring stamp.. This was a Sunday, so I was really limited in where to go. I called another TSC, that was a bit to far and explain to them what just happened. This other store, which was in a more rural location, tells me there's no policy on it and as long as the bottle I was trading in was mine and DOT, they had no issues.
