Yes there is a HUGE difference in build quality and performance commercial vs low end residential zero turns.

I've been putting these things together for delivery all summer at a tractor and implement dealership. Exmark, Gravely, Toro. There is a marked difference between their commercial and residential items. Just how they connect their baggers between the two let alone build integrity, is also differentiated

I owned a 3038E for 5 years on 16 acres with about 10 in open pasture. The HST is great and I was never short on power for running a 5’ bush hog. It never once failed to start or gave me any issues.

Here’s the downside and why I traded it in for a larger machine. The weight is awful, if you don’t load the tires it’s very tippy even with the small loader it has. It will not run a 4’ disc without spinning all 4 tires. The power is there but the traction is not.

If your going to mow with it, use the 3 point, and rarely use the loader I would whole heartedly vote for the 3038. If your using it ALOT for the loader and doing ground engagement I would say look elsewhere.

Hey fellow, slow down a second. Kukje did NOT purchase Cummins. They did solicit and were awarded the rights to produce limited Cummins Engines for an undisclosed cost. That is a HUGE distinction. Same as CAT, allowed a S Korean firm to produce, NOT Own, Perkins diesel engines.

I stand corrected....So, Cummins is still an independent company ?
