Box Scraper Need Some Information

I am in the process of purchasing a Mahindra 3016 (picking it up next weekend) and I know that I should get a 60" box scraper for it. Well, we measured the widest point on the tires that are mounted on the Mahindraheand and it is 61.5 inches. I know it is recommended I use a 60" box scraper, but would it be ok to go with a 65" so it is slightly wider than the width of the tractor? I am new to this and don't want to screw anything up.

hi, Dave . before you buy the 66" box blade check to see if the tire and wheel assemble can be reversed making your trac narrower. I have a 2 pc. wheel and can be reversed to make the trac wider or narrower. If not you can go with the wider box blade, you just dont need to go wider than the 66".
I don't have a mahindra, and don't know the wheel set up on them.
