Seen many posts on here about moving a small building. Just built a 6x 8 rough cut lumber and its still wet wood. Its heavy.
I built it with skids under it . I can lift one end with the forks and a strap around the building can just move it . But due to the very wet and soft ground and all the weight on the front the tractor gets very little traction. I would think the rear hydraulics would be stronger then the FEL?
How can I hook the building to the rear 3point and lift and move.
47 hp tractor.

if it has skids why dont you brace it and pull it? I think a 4x4 between the skids and two eye bolts with a chain to the tractor and you would be off to the races. If your dead set on using the loader, add some ballast to the 3pt.

I'm with RedNeck, I'd not consider using the FEL. Rig up a way to hook onto the skids and pull it. If you have problems spinning, put a quick hitch or horizontal drawbar on your 3pt and pull with that. Your tractor will easily drag that shed if you use the 3pt. With your tractor and using the 3pt you won't even need 4wd.

I want to use the back of the tractor. My skids are just 2x6 running the full length. I thought I should get it off the ground so it will not dig in at it moves. There may be a tree stump that i may have to get over as
well.

I'll tell you what my neighbor did.
he made 12 10" diameter wheels out of a 2X12 and glued them together in groups of three so as to make four 5 inch or so wide wheels. he drilled them in the middle so that they would fit on a piece of 1/2 in water pipe. He then drilled through the skids for the whole width of the shed and put the wooden wheels on the piece of water pipe. He greased the heck out of the wood wheels and hitched the shed to his tractor and pulled it up his driveway, across the road and into his other lot. Worked great except when he had to turn. Then he had to pick up one end and move it around. Even with the grease those wheels were smoking hot by the time he got there.
Looked funny but it worked. I would have borrowed a trailer and moved it.

Last time I moved one 8' x 10' we used 6" x 10' PVC pipes, four of them as rollers.
Had dad and my daughter in the truck pulling at idle in 4wd low and me and my brother moving the pipe rollers.
Just lift up the shed put the pipe rollers under the shed skids spaced a couple feet apart. As you pull it when a roller pops out of the end just carry it to the front and re-feed it under the shed.
How far do you have to move it???

I'm getting ready to move some shipping containers with my L3800.....they weigh in at 5k lbs i'll let you know how that goes.
Last time I move a shipping container I used a Cat 953C

When I moved my gun safe we used solid steel bars under the safe for rollers. Could you make tracks with 2x10 and use pipe for the rollers?

the rollers are a good idea only if you do not have a hill to go down! lol I would hate to see the shed take off into the tractor or worse yet, the shed take off pulling the tractor behind it! A trailer may be your best bet here if you have a long way to travel. It should roll nicely, and shouldnt sink in to badly. You could also build a stone boat ( I can't recall the correct term for a sled with runners that they used to haul logs on.) and that will give you something strong to pull on plus it will eliminate any stress on the building, Using the loader sounds like a stretch at best.

How far are you moving it?

Bill
100 ft is the distance it has to be moved maybe more depending on the placement.
Think what will try is drill holes in the 2x6 bottom frame both side and front. Run a chain through and attach to the 3 point arms to see if it can be lifted. Then I will have all the weight on the tires for traction.
