Need to slow down PTO rpm

The machine you linked is shearing more than cutting like a traditional saw. There's no sawdust. Draw a picture of what you're thinking to give us a better idea of what you want. Like others have said 60 RPM is quite low for a saw.

a hydraulic shear would do the same and less dangerous - just use hydraulics/pump run the shear like a splitter

There's quite a few of machines that do the same thing all over Europe... They burn small wood like that...

I don't see it as too dangerous, what I do see, is our society over here becoming afraid of just about EVERYTHING, and wanting some one (read government) to protect them at every minute, from themselves!!

I wouldn't be afraid to run that one bit!!

Build it if you want one and use a used car or truck transmission to slow the pto down!

Do a search on "Rebak", Many resourceful machines are made by real people that burn fuel wood .

For the smaller chunks , I would like to see the stoves that burn them.

I would use a truck differential (4:1) and throttle back the tractor engine rather than try for a 10:1 reduction.

Thanks (everybody), i know about this 'Rębak', i have one like the one in the last movie. Problem is that my little Iseki is too light. But i see that it runs at incredible speed. So maybe i should have another look at it. Last time i tried it, it did not take more than 3 cm, anything bigger would shake the tractor so much, that it got stuck every time.

I will try to create some drawing about what i want to achieve, but it can take a few days. Busy with taking those little trees from the land

Yes it has. Minimum speed = 472 rpm. Too much for what i had in mind. For the rest i truly love this machine
