Snow Never thought I'd say this, but I'm missing the snow...

You should find some excused to use your FEL, even if it's just scattering some large rocks around the yard and picking them up and dumping them again. I've had my tractor about 13 months, and I can pretty much just scoop things up without much thinking about it now.

When I first got it, my wife would be standing there angling here hand to describe how I should be moving the bucket and it'd take me a few tries to get things right. Oddly, it didn't take all that much practice to be at an okay level. I'm not running out and entering any loader or backhoe competitions by any means, but I can usually do what I want on the first try now.

So, I'd try to just dedicate some FEL time, even if you have to make the work up. I think that I got a pretty good eye at leveling the bucket from clearing lots of overgrowth in my woods by flat-pushing it.

Your dealer should carry them, if not Messick has a bunch online.

I found it under my Christmas tree a couple years ago. :) I've seen them at my local Kubota dealer as well. I think they used to be on Kubota's disgraceful merchandise section of their website, but not anymore. It's a BX22. I wish they'd make a BX24!

Since I have a front end snow blower and 250+ inches of snow I never used the FEL in the winter, but I have used it a lot this summer building a retaining wall. Our summers are pretty short here so I prefer to not have the snow any more than we normally do.

Nice Vette!

I don't mind snow, it's the bloody ice storms I don't miss in summer.

You take yours down?! :)

It's not the scooping part I've lost the ability to do. I'm working on a race track for r/c trucks/cars and it's the scoop down about 1-2", then level off and scrape that top 1-2" of soil off part that I'm having trouble with. Then again, sinking into 12" of mud while scooping isn't helping either :)
