To be honest with you i have not even seen the LS yet. Hopefully my Dad and I can make it down there by the end of March  and we will be able to get some tractor, and excavator time in. :) then when we are done with the LS down there we will probably take it to the Farm. How fast does the LS go in high range? Do you see any problem with driving it down the road 100 miles?

Well, it says it tops out somewhere around 16mph, but you're really revving it up to keep it there if going up any inclines. If it didn't have the extra weight of the loader, it might be easier.

I would say trailering it would be a much better option. 100 miles would probably take the entire day!

Sorry, I always read your posts. (does that make me a stalker?)

No prob! I just hope that means my posts offer something constructive, and you're not reading them just to see me say something stupid!

Poor girl, she's gonna be lonely! I don't think I've ever gone a full week without starting her ... make sure someone starts her up and let's her run to keep her fresh in the mean time

I'm absolutely positive that I'll break the windows or something else expensive on the cab at some point, so I took a rider out thru State Farm to cover me wherever I go!

TSO, the new Massey looks great. I'm not on the forum very often, but came across an old video on Youtube you had made with your CK20s digging a pond. Was impressed with what you were able to accomplish with that little tractor. Then I found your thread comparing 50 HP cab tractors, which I appreciate you posting and have filed away.

I'm curious, though, how much it cost to get coverage from State Farm for your tractor. I'm assuming it covers the tractor while being trailered as well?

Thanks.

Not that it really matters, I'd still trailer it. But, I could of swore I read somewhere that the 4041H and 4047H would run around 21 or 22mph in high range. For the life of me I can't find that information now. I can see it in my memory, it listed the speed range in each HST range and read something like: 1 (0-4.5), 2 (0-11), 3 (0-21)
