New 2020 Kiotis

**** it, i love this tractor, but want a 3 range :( back to Kubota B series or Massey 1526

Yep, it's a drag for sure. Sure seems like a missed opportunity.

First official quote back on a CX2510 from a large national dealer for HST, MMM, and loader was right at $23k, including a few hundred bucks to deliver it to me in a different state. (Awesome dealer response btw. Very nice experience. Happy to share if anyone is interested.)

Still, it's $2k+ more expense than a B2601 from my local Kubota dealer set up the same way but with R14s, even after paying sales tax on the 'Bota. I "think" the CX2510 should be the more capable tractor based on weight, but the 3 range transmission and LA435 Swift-Tach loader has me leaning toward the B at this point.

So, do not get me wrong, I do like the Kiotis, but LS just released the new MT2-25 S. It is the replacement for the XJ2025. Same size as the Kioti CK2510H, BUT ... IT HAS A 3 RANGE ! Not to be confused with the MT225E.

In-state purchase = 6.5% sales tax. Out-of-state purchase = 6.5% use tax. An equalizer in the analysis, from a tax standpoint, unless you assume the Connecticut revenuers won't come calling with penalties and interest. I sure wouldn't. :)

I'm in a different New Haven :)

Local sales tax at the dealer is 9.75%, which is a couple of point higher than I originally assumed. My state's use tax is 4.23%. If I'm being honest, the difference in monthly payments probably isn't enough to worry about.

That new LS looks pretty slick. My my nearest dealer said that they should have some to look at later this month. I'm sure the pricing will be pretty aggressive.

Also nice to see that Kioti extended their 84 month financing + $0 down + no payments for 90 days deal.

Ouch! Must be New Haven, Missouri! That combined state and local sales tax is pretty stiff.

Good luck with your continuing search. It's nice to have a number of good options in the CUT market these days.
