Thanks to everyone on the board for their input on my decision. Here's how the deal ended up:

2305
62mmm w/independent lift
200cx
ballast box

OTD:$13,200

I'll take and post some pics after I get everything situated.

Andy,

That is sweeet! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Remember to pay attention to ballasting when you use that loader. Remember, shiny side up! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks for the tip. I bought the JD ballast box as part of the package, but I'm still figuring out what I should fill it with.

Andy,

I had my rear tires loaded with RimGuard (it adds about 110 # per tire), I find that good for light work (the loader makes a pretty good wheelbarrow /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif), but for anything heavy, I put the ballast box on which I have filled with concrete. There have been times where I needed every pound of ballast I could get! What bucket did you get?

I got the 53" bucket, which works best for my purposes. Went out and mowed a bit this afternoon, and let me tell you, this thing is a mowing machine with that 62c deck. I had been using a Husqvarna 48" ZTR, and the 2305 has better cut quality, and I notice a lot more suction from the deck.

Andy,

Good choice, the 53" seems to be the right all-around bucket for these tractors. The 61" too big and the 48" too small. As for mowing, you are sooooooo right, the 62C with the blade tip speeds these tractors realize, is one great combo! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Put some gator's on, and you'll be making short work of everything that comes across your machine!

Andy living up North through the Winter, I find it difficult to pick out that pretty green machine against the green background, which is certainly not a problem here where everything is brown /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Do enjoy the sunshine, warm weather and that machine.
