Backhoe New 265 backhoe for 2320/2520 tractors

Does anyone know if the 270 hoe will fit my 2006 version of the 252o (it does have the updated rear 3pt draft arms) ?

The latest Deere brochure for the 2320, 2520, and 2720 shows the backhoe and the table beside it lists all three machines compatible with backhoes. Now, whether that includes the 270 is not clear. But my understanding is that the 270 is replacing the 46, and the 46 is compatible with all three.

Your best bet is to ask your dealer.

Hi Scott! I posted the following update here a week or so ago:

"Heard an update on the JD 270 hoe from a friend this morning saying its release is going to be delayed again. Seems that JD hasn't gotten everything working the way they want it and are taking the time to resolve the problems before it goes into full-scale production. The 46 hoes were almost completely depleted and JD has evidently re-started production of them, so 46s are again available. Of course, this likely means that, once JD is finished with the 270 and has it the way they'd like, we're going to have to wait until all the new 46s are sold before the 270 will be available for sale."

My understanding from my own dealer is that this is accurate info and that the 270 is specifically designed for the 2320/2520/2720, so you're in luck, that is, if we ever get to see it.

Hi looks to me like deere may be switching over to a woods setup. A lot of the frontier stuff is woods painted green! Something to think about. l had a 46 deere bh on my 2750. I did some amazing digs with it!
