If I recall there is a post on here somewhere about using a washer with an orifice at the hydraulic cylinder for the mower deck to slow the speed down.

Is your tractor a ehydro or auto hst

Here's a picture of the orifice for the lift cylinder. Its #12 part #N275799

After re-reading your original post you probably do have something out of calibration. I'm out of warranty anyway but would rather try to at least find the problem myself too. I bought a tech manual when trying figure out my loadmatch- tps issue.

When mowing, mine really lunges back and forward, and I know the pedal isnt moving at all, Ive been driving tractors since 1972 and im sure something is wrong. My first assumption is that the deck isnt mounted correctly and is somehow sapping power or connected in a way that is creating this problem.

i had similar problems on a 4310 hydro


try calibrating the forward and reverse pedals

on mine that is done by turning the key on without starting the engine

pressing the forward pedal down full and holding it for at least 5 seconds and releasing

same procedure for reverse and the throttle

Thanks Ill try that. I did finally turn off loadmatch and it does seem better...Ill test some more.

Just a final note, i was way low on hydrolic fluid after connecting the loader for the first time, so after dumping a gallon in, it drives much better.
