Suppose to debut in late May. I don't follow JD compacts much but does that loader look similar to a blue loader?

I wish I could see the rest of the machine! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif You can definately tell that the loader has a curve to it, but I don't think it is as curved as the CNH loaders. It looks like the upper half of the loader arms are curved while the lower half look like the same type of loader arms. I see it is the 4720. Do they plan on a 4x20 for the other models?

I would imagine all the models will go to 4020's, this was a picture that was on the cards sent to dealers. It was posted on the Toy Talk site by a fellow collector who works at a JD dealership and keeps all us nuts informed about the latest info from JD. Also, the JD 5020's are going to be 5025's by the end of the year. Toy Talk

Looks good! Also looks like a one piece hood and wraparound lights like the older Boomers. There is a lot of talk of reduced number of models, the 4720 may be the ONLY large chassis (no 4520 or 4620)

The first thing I noticed about the new 4720 is that is looked like the 100 series lawn tractors.

It apparently is the new look. Kioti has that curve on some of it's FEL models as well as NH. Any word on Bota going curved?

It looks like they have made a big improvement in grease fitting placement on the loader. The grease fittings apear to be in the ends of the piviot pins.

Its green and I like it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif At first I thought it might be a self-levelling bucket, but can't see enough to make that conclusion from the picture. That would be awesome if they could pull it off without adding a lot of weight on the loader arms.

That likely is going on my list to go after in the near future. Was going to the Deere 4310, but will probably wait for the mid-size chassis in the 4x20 series, (4320?). The quick-tach bucket looks the same and should take the quick-tach forks that I have. At times I wish I had the e-hydro. Am very happy with the Deere 4300, and think it is a good size - small, compact, but enough power to move things around like I want.

Maybe I will wait also . Who knows if this is really coming out?

It is coming out. The picture is of the real machine JD photographed and sent out to their dealers. The picture was on a post card that was sent to the dealers about the new tractors. We should learn more in a few weeks as they are going to show them at the end of this month.
