Hello All,
After months of lurking I registered today. Have been researching Ventrac for about 18 months now and finally purchased a 4500P. Only had it for a week now, but have mowed a few acres and did some clearing/hauling with my power bucket and grapple. Really like the unit so far but still in the process of getting familiar with everything, especially mounting/dismounting tractor. Steering seems weird at first but getting a little more accustomed to it as time goes on (never had any articulating tractor). I have a 72' side discharge mower, power bucket with grapple, suspension seat with armrests, field work lights, dual wheel kit, digital slope meter, turbine blower (not delivered yet), snow thrower (not delivered yet),and an empty feeling in my wallet,lol. I'am pretty impressed with the quality of the build, but more impressed with the Ventrac service side of the house. Three hours after delivery my tractor started spitting, sputtering and running rough.I called my salesman, who called his service tech and had him call me back (15 mins later). Service tech was at my house and repaired tractor (coil misfire) within 36 hrs of delivery.Now that was impressive to me. Sorry for such a long post. Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
