Finally, some final fun shots...here is old treasure I rescued from one of the hedgerows I was working on.

Some of you have asked me in prior posts and e-mails what my place is like...here is broadside view of house and barn....4710 is barely visible directly to left of the garage.

Last one up is picture of barn buildings from the rear...note hills in the background. These are lower foothills of Vermont's Green Mountains. Actual Green Mountains can be viewed from other portions of the property. These pics I'll post another time.

Tom,

Yep...my wife thought the same thing. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif We'll likely paint it up and use it as a landscape fixture with flower pots on it.

Absolutely beautiful setting, Bob! Love those rolling hills and all that growth.

Really sorry to hear of the mishap with the strap. Thanks for sharing your learning experience; it might save me the same predicament. Don't worry, though, I'll make plenty of mistakes to share, so will plan on returning the favor. Nice pictures of the equipment. I'm living it vicariously!

Bob, thanks for posting pictures of your place! If you remember, a few months ago, John Miller III and I were on a campaign to show non-New Yorkers, how beautiful and rural upstate NY is. Many people only think of NYC when you say New York! And one of the best areas to show the beauty of upstate NY is our beloved Cambridge!

By the way, it stopped raining and everything is dried up. I got a lot of tractor time this weekend, I hope you did! Don't worry about getting stuck, your 4wd should keep you out of trouble! And if you do get into trouble, my new Oliver is only 2wd, but at 62 hp, I could probably pull you out! You're just a quick tractor drive away! (I highly doubt you'll ever need me to, though!)

Now, like I said before...Get to work!!!/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Wow Bob... beautiful place you got there! (real nice tractor too)! The pictures are great... sounds like you really like that "Top and Tilt" option! Now how about some "Working Pictures of that 4710???

Thanks Rich....I guess your and John's efforts to promote upstate New York's and Washington County's pastoral and bucolic environs were before the time I joined TBN....I don't remember this. If I did, I certainly would have joined you in the choir. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Yep, it stopped raining for a few days but before I can get on that 4710, my little 425 stands in the way and screams at me to mow the lawn. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif With all the rain we have gotten, this green stuff is growing like crazy...have a hard time keeping up with the cutting. I'm taking two weeks off at the end of this month and I think then I'll get some serious seat time in on the 4710.

Catch you later and I'll take you up on that offer if I ever need it. Thanks!

Thanks Jim. Yes, the Top and Tilt I think will come in handy...I think more so for the rake than the MX6. But, it'll likely be even more advantageous when I get the box blade down the road.

The action pictures....well, I'm working on them. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif I've had the 4710 for two weeks and I've managed to put on it all of 1 hour.....the rain, wet ground conditions, and constant lawn mowing have kind of sidetracked me. But, as the summer progresses and things dry out, I'll be getting my priorities back in order. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

BTW, hope you made out okay last Friday at your place without any damage. Heard on the news that night a report of tornado sighting and a lot of wind damage in the Fulton County area.
