Will you be cutting it all? People don't realize how big a piece of land is until your the one in the seat cutting it. I know how you feel. You are going to love that A/C come July.

I've got a bug in my ear for the new 5603 deere is coming out with. Can't seem to figure out why they call it a "03" model. It is MFWD, and assembled in GA. not India....

No, we only cut about 25-30 acres total. The rest is older hardwoods with new pine planted about 7 years ago.

I bet that 5603 is nice.

I was getting the bush hog ready today for spring and summer mowing and it was warm enough here in Pa to run the AC. If we don't get any rain for a week or so I will be ready to turn some ground.
Good luck with your 4720.

I got our bush hog ready to go today. The wife wanted to do some bush hogging to spend some time with the TC45DA. She's feeling guilty about trading as this tractor has been bullet proof. Said it's almost like loosing a family member.

Now, she's got me feeling bad about trading it off. :( However, this was only for a brief second. :D She and I both will be happy with the cab. Our allergies will be awful this summer without a cab and she knows it. Just a little remorse I guess.

I did manage to break the grease zerk off of the tail wheel hub. It broke clean off and left the threads in the hub. I tried getting it out. No such luck. I packed the hub with grease and put the tail wheel assembly back on. The dealer wanted $150.00 for a new wheel and hub plus freight.

James, how did you choose to operate the third function for the loader? Pics, explanation, anything would be great!

Congrats by the way!

The third function will be controlled from the joystick. This option places the buttons on the joystick. It is a new offering from Deere. The salesperson I'm working with had to make several calls. Cost was $900.00 with a 67.00 discount. Hoses are still ran to the 3rd rear SCV.

I'll take pics when it gets here.

Wow! Didn't know that existed on the 4x20 series. I was originally looking into the WR Long system like you are describing, decided against it, and settled on running the 3rd function off the regular SCV lever. I am however getting a Fasse valve so that I have two remotes in the rear, and can swap from one to the next with a button. This way either would be run off the SCV lever. A cheaper way to have the ability to run Top 'N Tilt someday and not have to shell out for JD's electric diverter. I'll post some pics of that someday...whenever the tractor finally arrives.

The CCM hydraulic toplinks and side links with double piloted check valves will arrive at CCM on Monday April 2. Please give us a day to check them in before you call and place your order. We will start taking orders Tuesday April 3. ALL sizes should be available.
Thank you for your patience and support.

Curious, why you didn't get the cab unit on a new, New Holland, rather than go to Deere?
What was the deciding factor that moved you away from the bullet proof NH?

It was all about horsepower this time around. The NH has been great, but the tasks at hand meant at least 50 PTO and it had to be HST. HST was the wife's only request. NH just didn't have the specs I required in a compact. We've out growed the 37 pto hp of the NH. I wish NH had something in this pto hp range that had a cab and HST. I'd bought it in a heart beat. I'll miss that SuperSteer.

I'm in the same boat. I have Kubota now, and was headed toward NH, but I had the same problem with the no HST at higher HP
Once you go HST you never go back!!!
