New at everything

Like the title says I am new at everything. I am in the process of buying 21 acres in Jackson MI. The land has an orchard and a few fenced areas, a couple of ponds and a house with a 3 car detatched garage. I examined the land on a website called Web Soil Survey and it looks good for what money I have to buy with. I will just be a homestead type with a little bit of livestock and some gardening. I have done some research about compact tractors, but I always interested in advice and such. Maybe someday I will be able to give knowlagable advice myself. Anyway, I'm glad to be part of this community.
