I got a pleasant surprise yesterday My new B2630 was delivered instead of next Monday. What a sweet little machine. No loader didn't want one as I have an L4610 TLB. Attached are some pictures of the new tractor and a couple of shots of the pond.

Thanks for the kind words about the tractor and pond. Now if I could just float the tractor over to mow the islands it would make my life easier. Lifting the mower into the boat then heading to the islands to push mow them is a pita, but they do look nice when I am done. The Bluegill follow the mower when I mow the edge as it scares up bugs and spiders and the fish lie in ambush. I have 8-10lb Channel cats that sometimes follow the Bluegill and pick off the smaller ones. I like catching the big cats on light tackle as they sure put up a fight, they break my line about half the time. I feed them in the evening and they are like a bunch of hogs, the water just boils.

Very nice !

It looks as though it was delivered with the old style seat....... I would inquire with the dealer as to whether or not they can replace it. Your bum will be much happier.

Ductape thanks for the heads up, I noticed that the seat tends to lean forward. I will contact the dealer on Monday.

Yes, very nice tractor and pond. I have the B2630 also and love it. As was mentioned, make sure you have the upgraded seat - as shown here:

Kubota - Seat Program

They should have been changed out long ago, but there are some still floating around with the old seat. Mine was one of them, and I know another recent buyer who had one delivered with the old seat. Dealer should replace it free of charge if you got the old one.

Enjoy the tractor and let us know if you find a way to get the B out to the island ! :D

Dozernut,

New tractor grins to you!!!!:D:D

Gotta say, that's has to be tough deciding whether to mow on your new machine or go fishin'.....Life is Good:thumbsup:

Nice tractor. Instead of ballast in the tires, maybe helium so you could get to the island?;)

Take Care

Thanks Thomas and to all the others for the kind comments! I told my wife that we should to get a pontoon boat to take the tractor to the island, but she just rolled her eyes and walked away muttering. Women just don't understand about support equipment. :)

Bare tractor, depending on your dealer will probably run 14-15k. I have no idea what the loader and hoe would add. I like this tractor more everyday. I was originally looking at a B2920 which is a fine tractor but this one had some features and several options that made it the best choice for me.

You can go on kubota's web site to the build your tractor site and build the tractor with the loader and hoe. They will give you the msrp on the unit. You can then go to your dealer with some advanced knowledge.

Yes, I built the pond which is a little over three acres. Kicking the idea around to enlarge it by another acre but I sold my dozer and would have to acquire another and I don't think my bride would go for that now.

Here are a few more pictures of the tractor. The first shows the 275lbs of suit case weights. The second picture shows some of the reasons why I chose this tractor. I have a mower for it but did not have it mounted when I took the pictures.

I have a 2630 and love it. I noticed your ROPS is fixed. First time I've seen that on this tractor. It also looks noticeable shorter than the folding one. If you get a second, do you think you could measure the height of the ROPS from fender to top for me? Thanks, and enjoy the new tractor.

nspec

It is 35" form the top of the fender to the top of the roll bar. The height from the ground to the top of the roll bar is 77".
