My new B3030 arrived today.. What a nice machine..
Runs very well, handles great.. Steering & response are perfect..
I mowed with it (60"MM), and I am quite pleased.. My lawn was a bit soft in spots, but no major issues..

I will report back in future with my observations..

I can say I am glad I bought the remote valve for loader..

Looks "vaguely" familiar to me....LOL

Question though..? Should those HYD lines maybe be loop clamped to the floorboard edge? Looks like MAYBE...MAYBE...hanging that way something MIGHT get caught and yank one loose or ?? Just wondering is all?

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

I am debating what to do about those lines.. I noticed Stef has same valve, and his lines go thru hole in floor.. Which is much neater..
They are pretty stiff lines.. I'll have to unbolt valve assembly from fender and disconnect lines from loader hydraulic junction... Drill hole in floor & redress..

I am really pleased so far.. I though it might be too big for my 5+ acres.. But not right now )

Also, loader bucket sits perfectly level, and vibration in steering wheel is there to a degree, but not really bothersome yet.. I mentioned to dealer & had him look over for any vibration fixes.. He also called Kubota, and they were not admitting to any class vibration issues, other than replacement of that steering bracket, which mine already had..

Is that the standard setup for FEL joystick on a non-cab 3030? I'm not familiar with the 3030, but would have thought the mount would be similar to other Kubota's (to the right of the steering wheel).

My dealer installed the remote the same way your dealer did with yours. I modified the installation afterward. When you say the lines are pretty stiff... I completely agree with you! :(.

Nice tractor, we have the exact same setup. Have fun! :)

Familyfarm,
This is the "remote" valve location, standard with cab version..
I opted for this over the standard mount point..
I think its better location, and JD and other mfgs are placing their valve in this location as standard..

I was looking at New Hollands before I bought my Kabota and that is the location of the joy stick on those units as well. I must admit I do like it there but at the same time I use a fork lift a lot and the levers are always to the right of the steering wheel so I realy don't mind it there. The lines across the deck would not fly with me at all. I am actualy suprised that they would even do that at the dealer and send it out that way

I have the same rig as you do except for the standard loader valve. I don't find it to be a problem at all. Actually I get on and off that side of my tractor quite a bit and I think the remote valve would interfere with that. The first thing I did on mine was remove the arm rests on the seat. I was always hitting my elbows on them when turn the steering wheel. I also changed my ROPS to the the non-folding version so I could drive in and out of my barn and garage without having to raise and lower the folding ROPS. I knew it would not be long and I would never raise it so what good would it do me in the event that I needed it to be there. I am very happy with my B3030 and would do it again. The 60" MMM works great. I modified mine by removing the two rear wheels in the center of the deck and using a hook and chain system to make the deck semi-suspended. I did not like the tracks that the center wheels left on the lawn. I have mowed many times with it since I modified it and it works very well. I have 74 hours on it now and have not had any problems at all. The one thing I would suggest you do to improve the loader performance and convienience is install a rod type bucket level indicator. That is something I did and I cannot stress enough how much of an improvement that is over the standard strap iron indicator on the bucket.

Good luck with your new toy. It is not too big at all for 5 acres. I have 3.5 and would not want anything smaller.

Very nice machine, i have the cab model & im very pleased with it. Do us all a favor and run those loader control lines through the floor where they belong. I really dont want to read about how a tree branch caught on the lines and caused the loader to dump a log on you. Its dangerous, i cant believe the dealer set it up that way. Good luck, Scott.
