I have two driveways, neither all that long, but I also have to clear a path for the kids to get to the school bus stop, that's about a block. Right now I have a drift at least 5' high in my north driveway, still blowing hard enough that I can't see my south drive.

Nice tractor, but that first real boo-boo would just KILL me. So, I stick with used.

Someone else can have their heart ripped out.

I go for 'character' when I buy. Let's me sleep easier at night.

Nice pics. Throws the snow pretty good. Looks like you got some pretty cool scenery there in front of your place.

It is a winter wonder land for sure, and bitter cold today. The high got to about -1, with wind chills around -20. Most places the little thing works great, when you get to hard drifts that are over the blower it can be a little difficult. The CVT is slick for blowing though, if you have enough traction you can just inch along, our problem is we got about a quarter inch of rain before the snow so it's ice under the snow. Here are a few more pictures.

It's throwing that snow better than one would expect. You must be happy with that horsepower.
Is the ground frozen underneath?

Local dealer here has had two on his lot for over a year. Just saw his first ever advertisement in the local shopper paper .. Boomer and loader for $28k.

Yes, the ground is very frozen. I am very happy with the power, it'll blow 2 to 3 ft. of snow great, just the hard as rock drifts that are tough. I also have a NH 6050 with a loader and 9ft blower, we used that on the deepest spots at the farm. The 6050 works OK too, but it's reverse is to fast (18 speed power shift) so you're on the clutch a lot.

I only did snow like that for a while for the same reason of too high of reverse gear. Seems like you're in the big snow and cold of the upper midwest so get the kids toys out of the way before it snows.
You have an enviable combination of power, HP and unfortunately, snow.
