Front-End Loader New Bucket or Tooth Bar

I love my piranha tooth bar. I left it on to push a few inches of snow off the driveway the other night. It is also great on the dirt pile.

I went with a used bucket and weld on teeth. Bucket was $160.00 and teeth were $200.00. I added a removable grabber and can use on my forks. Just 3 pins to remove and the hose. I move a lot of clay and gravel from a creek and that tooth bucket sure brakes it loose.

I've read up a bit on weld on/pin on teeth but it's left me a bit confused. From what I seeing you weld on a shank and then pin teeth into that? Were do you get these and what are the good brands? I read through a couple old threads and Esco was a name that popped up a few times but the website looks like it's for big mining loaders and excavators. I'd like more info and if possible photos of your weld on teeth.

Thx

The Piranha looks nice- one of the few that doesn't look like you can hurt it snagging something going backwards. Is the bar made from hardened steel like the front edges?

I'm not on my computer and have no link right now. I had a Trojan on mine and it's getting fixed. I might not have my links when I get it back. I well look back thru my old post and see if I can find it. Be back later.

Ok thx. Now it makes sense to me- weld on "adapters" and pin the teeth to that. I appreciate the info and I assume you are happy with your setup based on the thread.

Yes I am, only because I have 2 buckets so I can change real quick. If I only had one I would just keep fighting it with the stock bucket. I looked a long time for the used bucket.

I'd rather have 2 buckets. Another poster mentioned storage. It doesn't bother me a bit to leave implements outside. The tractor is kept inside unless it's being used. A new can of paint will heal an implement that sat outside its whole life.

Especially a bucket.
