New BX product development corroborators wanted

How about a 3 pt mounted fan that runs off the rear PTO to keep you cool when mowing?

PTO Fan powered pontoon boat/barge, complete with FEL.

I have been working on a design for a mid mount grader blade. I think this would be perfect for leveling cart paths, trails, spreading gravel on driveways, etc. The mid mount vs. front mount would work best for leveling since it would be centered between the axles. I have worked with the rear blade for so long and am tired of the "digging" effect when the front wheels start up a slope.

The mid mount could also be angled/tilted for sloping and terracing.

Anyone interested???

these are the types of items that I have in mind, although a BX water craft seems interesting even if not feasible. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Brinet, I'd be really cautious about what you hooked a MMG (Mid Mounted Grader) to. I've not studied it, but I think the existing linkage is made for hanging a MMM, which shouldn't encounter a buried rock or stump. My concern would be if you caught the MMG blade on something immobile, you could tear out all your MM linkage before you would realize what was happening.

For comparison, look at the size of the 3PH lift arms vs the MM lift arms.

I like the concept, but I'd want to hook it up to the tractor frame with something other than the current lift arms, if I were doing it.

Best wishes though.

Oh, and I think instead of a pontoon boat, the BX turning into a tugboat would be more fitting it's profile and demeanor! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That is part of the design challenge. The mmm links could not and would not be used. I have a couple of solutions for that.

Also, the height of the blade is somewhat of an issue. Remember, there isn't much clearance under the BX series. I already have a solution for this, but getting it to work with the previous issue (not using mmm links) has been a challenge, along with my obsession of being able to tilt and turn the blade. (oh, did I mention that it would be really cool to have it to slide left & right....)....

My problem is that I want the product to do EVERYTHING. If I could just settle for a few options at first, then let the extras be added later, but then the initial design may need to be changed to implement the options, and what if I wanted to.....

HELP!!! I'm BRAINSTORMING and can't STOP!!!!!!!!!

My kingdom for a darned toolbox!

And I installed a marine cigarette lighter socket by the key that will run my 12v dashboard fan for those hot mowing days.
Much simpler than the proposed PTO driven fan and easier to hook up. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Hey Junkman, How 'bout a small 3ph PTO driven rotary trencher? Not the DitchWitch style that looks like a chainsaw, but a wheel with little spade ends all around. I saw a Chinese one, but it was so big you almost need a Cat. II hitch for it.

Now is a corroborator what you're really lookin' for?? I thought maybe a co-rrobor-ator was somebody to help you in pullin' off a stickup /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif (We'd best be careful boys, the feds are probably monitorin' everthin' we write here.) I went & checked on that big word; Ole Mr. Webster says a corroborator is somebody who brings evidence or testimony to support what you've already testified to. Maybe a co-llabor-ator might fill the bill-somebody to "work together" with 'ya /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Good luck findin' helpers, whatever secret scheme you're up ta. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

didn't know diesels use corroborators...thought they use injectors?

seriously, how about a horn, or a tach, a work-light, better documentation, loader/BH removal/mount quick instruction labels right on the implements for easy reference, first aid kit, an audible tilt warning signal, a clock, tool box, etc.

One of those designed for cutting small trenches like those used around landscaped areas would be a great implement !
