Just got 2 quotes from local dealers for the new BX25LB-R with a 12" bucket and 54" MMM. Both were right at $18K. Sound like a reasonable price?

The R stands for R4 Tires. A -T for Turf. Was your price with a MMM? What part of the country?

Got the same machine, without the mower, here in Outer New York back in November...$15,900. I'd say you were in the ballpark.

THe 54" MMM for my BX was around $1,500 so adding that to TF's BX25 price of $15,900 puts you at $17,400, so I'd say it's a little high but not outrageous. I would think you could get him down maybe another $500.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely try to get him down at least $500 on the price. The lowest quote so far is $17900. Since this is my first tractor purchase maybe you folks can offer a little advise on the negotiating. Am I better off just shooting for a lower price or trying to get another attachment or option thrown in for free/big discount? I know I will need a blade - a tiller would be nice etc. This dealer also has chain saws which I need too - maybe a freebie?

I had zero benefit for 'bulk' purchasing at the time I bought my machine. My dealer has a price tag on every piece of equipment in their yard...it is usually a pretty good price (except for their trailers), and they add them all together.

That said, they've stood by their product and any/all issues ever encountered on my machine have been fixed promptly, completely, and perfectly. That would be worth the $400 or $500 in my book if that was the case with your dealer.

No mine does not have a mower. Your best bet is to shop around and see if the dealer you want to buy from will match the lowest price.

First dealer came back with $17800 delivered with a full tank of gas! I'm trying to set up a demo now to be certain this small looking beast can really do everything I need it to. Doesn't a 3-Point Hitch come standard with this model? Seems like it would since it has the backhoe but I thought I saw somewhere that it was an option? Hope to get the deal done this week (Merry Christmas to me!!) and take advantage of the financing. Has anyone heard of any new specials or Kubota promotions for next month?
