New cabbed 4320

Sharp,

I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but can you please compare the 4320 to the 5083? I currently have a OS 4320 and I am debating between a 4520 cab and 5083 cab. My only concern with the 5083 is the ability to tow it compared to the 4520 cab. I use a 24' 14k gooseneck behind a chevy 2500 diesel.

Just saw your request for info concerning hauling the 5083. My 5083 equipped with FEL and loaded rears weighs in at about 12,000 lbs. I haul it with a 25' gooseneck rated at 22,500 lbs GVWR. I think you would be OK if your trailer can handle the load plus the trailer weight so as to not exceed the rated GVWR. My previous flatbed (used for the JD 4320) was only rated at 10k GVWR and would not handle the 5083's load weight.

Awesome! You might consider a ballast box, loaded rear tires and/or some other rear attachment to provide weight to offset the FEL.

That is one fine tractor you have there. Glad you got the minor kinks worked out.

You're right about the BB, and I do have one. The photo above was just a test on the grapple, anything heavier and the BB would be on. :D
