New Coke??

"I suggest buying 1 Coca-Cola C-2 out of a vending machine or convenient store to try it first. That way you don't have 11 wasted cans if you don't like the first one."

Gator,
How can you call them "wasted" when you would have 11 exploding targets for target practice? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

lol I didn't mean to infer "New Coke" memories (or nightmares as it may be) My bad for poor title.

I've yet to see a vending machine with this stuff, guess I need to change some of my hangouts to some that HAVE vending machines /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I do need to agree with the purists though... hard to beat Coke Classic (and I'd defend the same logic with Pepsi) I will reach for either one and drink either one, I just reach for a Coke first, if they're side by side.

(I didn't stop & think this could be a cola war)

I'm ducking out before the fizz hits the can.

Pepsi's product in comparison is Pepsi Edge. My wife has tried the Edge product and didn't like it at all.

I think the Pepsi Edge is pretty good. But, I really like the Diet Pepsi Twist better. It has zero carbs and calories. The lemon taste they add to the twist really covers up the 'diet taste.' (I normally dislike the taste of diet) I have found that folks who 'actually' like diet, don't like the Edge or C2.

Just a thought and not meant to judge or cause any issues here. This is just a friendly health reminder. Soda, in any form, diet or otherwise has serious health risks long term. Most Americans are tired and need a jolt because they are dehydrated. Any sode with caffeine will dehydrate the body. The effects of either aspartame or sugar has long term effects on the body. Carcinogenic with the aspartame and diabetes with the soda. Soda is also one of the leading causes of tooth decay. The carbonation leads to stomach and digestive problems in many people. Try drinking water for every soda that you normally drink for two weeks and see if you don't notice a difference. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I've done that experiment with beer. Does that count?

Well nice try. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Seriously though alcohol is much worse than soda at dehydrating the body. One of the causes of a hangover is dehydration, especially the headaches.

Cowboydoc.. I thought you would drink Dr. Pepper! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I actually go through a couple gallons of apple juice every weekend while working outside.

Does drinking soda lead to acid reflux disease???? What is the effect of coffee drinking on the digestive system. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I've found myself drinking more and more of these carbonated flavored waters that you can get at Wally World (or other box stores). They give me the "feeling" that I'm drinking my "pop", without the calories or caffeine. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Of course, this after I get home from work where I've consumed about 2 gallons of coffee during the day! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
