Also is only an 8G or $400?
And on my 3 year old Compact with windows vista there is a point resore thing that i have used when the nephew got a virus on my desktop. Works and gives you several options of when to restore to. All stuff is saved still, not sure about new files created after the restore date though? We dotn do much file creating or saving outside of pics anyway. Mostly just search the net.
