Yes those are the ones for the 60 but I like the newer cab for the 70 series better, mainly because it has a hard removable back panel. The 60 series one has a soft back panel, so it is really only a 3 side hard cab.

The 70 series version the door is larger since it does not have that filler glass.

Yes the ROPS angle seems to be the big difference. I am not concerned that my ROPS will tilt back and not hug the new straight back cab. I can either extend the brackets to reach back to the angled ROPS, or spend the money and buy a new upper ROPS, the bottom is the same.

Just bringing this up again. Hoping someone will help. Particularly someone at a dealership that is going to install a 1KBX70AS on a 70 series BX25, but there happens to be a 60 series BX25 also in the shop. Can you just hold the side frames, front panel, etc against the 60 series for a minute and see if all is the same as the 70 series.

I was going to try the opposite, found a 60 series cab on craigslist last spring, to see if it would fit on my 70 series BX25D. I called my dealer who is pretty good, they needed to double check, meanwhile I called Curtis. They both finally said it would not fit..bummer it was under $1500. I cant remember why it wouldnt fit now. Im guessing with the opposite isnt going to work either.

I'd bet if Curtis says it won't fit, it won't.
Why would they want to lose a sale?

"Fit" in their definition I think is it bolts right on and matches up exactly as per the instructions.

I think it will "fit" with ROPS difference taken into account.

Looks like the big difference in the upper hoop of the ROPS on the 70 series cants forward. The lower hoop of the ROPS is the same part number I believe.
So the new cab on the 60 series, the ROPS would not hug the cab. I don't care about that . I can accommodate for that either by extending the brackets to meet the further away ROPS or buy the new 70 series upper hoop.

I want to know is there any difference in the body measurements that would preclude pieces from fitting. Does the forward bulkhead piece fit over the hood just the same? Is the floor the same width? Is the rear fenders the same contour, will the side frames fit on.

If it is my $4000 I should get a choice of what I want.
Or just update the 60 series cab to include the nicer removable rear panel and I will buy that.

Even if the manufacturer will not say, someone out there in TBN knows the answer, or works in a shop and can walk the pieces of a 70 series cab kit over to a 60 series tractor and just "hold them up" in place and see if they fit.
