I had a dealer tell me the joystick was on the fender on the proto-type that was introduced to them!

Just got our first one in today, very nice!
I think the joystick by the streeringwheel probably gives smoother cable routing to the valve. Also allows you to keep both hands near steering wheel, while operating shuttle and loader valve.

I'm not sure I would like a fender mounted joystick.( although I have not yet tryed one).
My DK 35 has the joystick to the right of the steering wheel, and I kindof like it right where it is !!

Well, that's just not true. I was there in September as they drove the tractor out from the warehouse and down the road to where we were standing. We all got a chance to get around and on it, and the loader was mounted high, up on the loader frame. It is better where it is now, but the dealers who were asked said to mount the joystick like the CK series, near the fender where it's just to one's right, and at a good level to keep your arm from being up in the air. I don't think it's a big problem, but it's not where we thought it would be. Take a look at any CK20/25/30 and you'll see the configuration they have.
One aggravating aspect of the release of this model is that Kioti is assembling all of the first 50 models rather than send them to the dealer for assembly which is making getting them a lot slower. I have yet to be able to see one as my dealer is waiting for delivery.

Why do all the DK loaders have the same self- leveling feature?
/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I do not like green eggs and ham... I mean the lack of roll back and the extra linkage it requires. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
The simpler the better, stronger and more reliable. One lose bolt and you are out of work for days! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I miss my old manual leveling, full roll back, pry anything out of the ground L3010.

Thanks, I feel better now

Not all DK's have that feature
The DK 35 (KL 1450 loader) does not have the self leveling feature.

Nice pictures...thank you. Is one set of rear remotes standard now on the DK45s?
