New Dog - OMG - More fun than I wanted

At 120# Little Boy doesn't sound very little. But it sounds like you are having fun with him

He is a character, does a lot of funny 7 sometimes cat like things.
Today was different. I was cutting some kindling & he kept trying to get in my lap. When he lifted his back leg. just pushed him on across.
After a while he just sat & watched.
Now I like to think he was trying to help.
He picked up a stick & was trying to split it. - OK he was chewing on it. :laughing:
I sawed up a little wood & was tossing over by the stack. Now I'm sure he was trying to stack it for me. :laughing: Didn't accomplish much but tried.

Next I have to teach him to pull the little red wagon. - When I was a kid an Aunt had a Chow. Grandad made him a harness & he would pull me & my sister around in a Red Flier wagon.

My dad had a Eurasier which partially comes from the Chow line. Very good dog. Long enough hair to be outside at almost any temperature. He actually liked sleeping in the snow better than on the porch.

Little Boy has a new toy.
Left the door open when I pulled in the wagon load of wood.
Soon there was a tornado in here, all 3 dogs running in circles, jumping up & down. Little Boy was busy exploring, he is always looking for something new or different, inside or out.

He found an old bear paw slipper & off he went. A whole new toy, to play keep away with, chew on, throw in the air, & throw off the ramp & run after it.

I let Mother Bobby in now & then to get away from the kids. But all three are outside dogs.

Its Sad & maybe pathetic.
When I got home today an old male dog that has been left next door with no people living there anymore.
He was looking down the road hoping that his human or master was coming back to him.
I don't know how eats, no one goes over there with food. He must go some place & find something to eat. But I have never seen him leave the yard.

He is old & if the dog police picked him up, no one would bail him out of jail. So he is better off being free.

Not much I can do he & my dogs don't get along. Just A sad situation.

+2. Yes, please, somehow make sure he is fed. I'd hate to be left and abandoned. I could rant about people who mistreat animals however they don't deserve my attention.

Across an open field to the east is someone that I think is feeding him. He is eating somewhere.

I believe he wants his human / master more than food.

Old woman, criminal Ronny's mother died & he is in jail on numerous charges, looking at at least 20 years. 2 Criminal trials coming up. I'm going to testify & ask for more time.

Went down to the fence yesterday & Old dog was not around, dogs went with me. Had he been there he would have come to argue with them.
There is a lady north of here that runs a catering truck, she use to throw out left over food, that may be where he is eating.
Later heard the dogs arguing with him.

Little Boy seems to get bigger every day. Almost like a horse running up to you. Still wants to be a lap dog. with his head & paws in my lap, his hind leg will not quite reach. Got to give him credit for trying.

The fun goes on. Well sort of.
Today Little Brat jumped up on me, hit me with a claw & tore out a triangle of skin about 1/4" X 1/4" Hurts & is sore.
Was going to put super glue on it, pulls out soreness & seals it up. Can't punish her for being bad as she was just playing. Did swear at her though.
Little boy getting better, but still wants to be a lap dog. Can't even imigian him on the bed or couch with me, Be about like bedding down with a horse.

My sore hand didn't bother them a bit, still wanted petting & scratched, rotten beasts anyway.
