John, I did, but not lately. And a buddy of mine was at the factory about 18 months ago in India on a business trip. Unless things have changed Mitsubishi makes some of the smaller units. I believe Mitsu makes the hydrostatic models? The "15" series was clearly identified as a Mitsu. I could not find anywhere on their website where it says where the "10" series comes from. They do point out that they have some assembly facilities in both Texas and Georgia. M&M makes stuff in several countries, but they also have stuff made for them on contract. At least for a while I was told that their mid-size models are (or were) Korean built tractors. In fact I don't know of any that are actually made in India and sold here in the US that are under 35 or 40 hp. I don't know if they were contract built or if they have/had a factory, I'm just going with the best information I had that they are Korean. But in any case, I never put down the brand or even Korean tractors, I just provided an accurate assessment of the characteristics of the various tractors as they come from the various nations. The Mahindra's at my local dealership actually are pretty impressive tractors, fit & finish is good, ergonomics are good, specs are good, too bad the dealership is just a garden center as I would not trust them to provide the type of support that I expect from a tractor dealer. I like dealerships with full parts departments and experienced service technicians. Regardless of where the actual tractor comes from, the brand looks to be high quality, solid, and with a wide product line than can meet the needs of most any small or medium tractor buyer . . . and they are moving into the AG market with some impressive larger machines.
EDIT: I would like to stand corrected on a couple points. First, I was able to confirm that both LONG and LG MONTANA have HYDRO tractors, I previously said that LG did not offer HST trannys.
Also, in regards to Mahindra, in addition to what RonNY wrote, I was also able to find that they still have some Korean models. In fact, many of their tractors are Korean made.
In regards to the LG Montana, I did say that Long does not make tractors for LG. I believe that to be true, but could not confirm it. Both brands have some tractors that are virtual CLONES of each other, but that does not mean that LONG makes the machines for LG as the tractors that I found that differ mainly in paint color, appear to be Japanese Mitsubishi tractors with Hydro transmissions so I suspect that Mitsubishi makes the HST machines for LG Montana AND also makes the machines for LONG.
