Trailer is great. Haven't done a lot of hauling. Maybe only 10 loads so far ranging from bank run, gravel, dirt, firewood, and mulch. All I'm concerned about is its there when I need it. I'm considering looking around for a bigger used truck since I can't haul maximum capacity of either of my trailers with my 1/2 T but close. 1/2 T is rated for 9600 max trailer tow capacity so I have to limit what I put in the trailer to under 7K. Dump trailer cap. is 10,5K. Same with new 22' PJ 14K tilt bed trailer. I know the 1/2 T will haul over 10K but want to keep it legal and have enough brakes to stop a full load. I've been watching CL for 2006 low mile F350's. They have a conventional trailer tow cap. of 15K and seem to be the best year and make for that capacity. The GM, GMC, and Dodge's have lower ratings of usually around 12,5K. I don't want to go newer and have another truck payment and would lose too much trading my 2013 1/2T in on a 1T.
