Sounds pretty good to me! There were a bunch of errors in the article though; among others, GM is going to use the 10-speed in their 1500 series trucks/SUVs.

I've been wondering if it will be Al or CGI for quite a while, thinking it would be CGI since the 2.7L is. However, I saw another article that it was alloy. Also, the fact that it weighs less than the previous version makes me think Al since CGI is heavier than Al, right? Interesting....

Watch the following video. It says it goes down the same machining line as the previous, which is why they kept the displacement and cylinder spacing the same. Is that possible with CGI and Al?

They still put the oil filter in the hardest spot possible to change. The transmission still has no drain feature or dipstick. My two grips...
