I've always said a better machine will cut the learning curve way down.

Buyers seem to like their Everlast welders and buyers seem to like their Longevity welders. I realize these two companies are sponsors of this forum but as such should engage in a little professional etiquette rather than trying to knock and/or discredit each other every chance they get. That is not the sign of good business or salesmanship. It is petty and does more to discourage people from purchasing your products than it does to promote them.
You should here what they have to say about each others welder when you call one and ask for a price match from the other:rolleyes:

When i purchased mine and talked to both companies, I did not have this experience. Neither said anything badly about the other. I guess it depends on the particular sales person with some youngins in this capacity, perhaps not having the acumen as yet to behave with class. I regard "youngins" as those below 45.
