btw, I forgot to add, yes, mowing at 5.5 inches. As you can see by the pic, no more room for adjustment.

Nice looking mower Drew. I think the 5 1/2" cut will look fine. And about those pine needles. They are tough. They will dull a blade quicker than anything. In the long run you might come out ahead to buy some sort of rake or vacuum to use before mowing. You will go through a lot more blades chopping up the pine needles.

.....................and it mowed everything nicely except pine needles which it left in a small windrow. Need to figure that out, and wonder if mowing in a different circular direction would help. The mower seems to stick out the left side more than the right. Not sure that is the mower or my three point hitch...............................

Beautiful new equipment! If I mow in a counter-clockwise direction with my Landpride 6' RFM there are times it does a small windrow. If I go clockwise, it never does that.

I'd bet that the reason it's off center is due to the adjustment on your hitch arms.
