I'm curious, do you mind sharing what you paid for those?

Mine don't move when I use a pipe to tighten them and use the stabilizer. I wouldn't try to lift anymore than 500lb's either, I'm not afraid of anything bending but I am afraid of snapping my front axle..

As long as you only use the hydraulics to lift something, you won't be able to lift enough to do damage to the axle. I admit to lifting extra by use of ratchet straps, but not too much and not very often.

I used mine to lift an old wood burning stove that must have weighted 700 lbs. It worked fine and the tractor had no problem lifting the load. I have added some bucket reinforcement so I'm not worried about bending anything.

I use the forks for so many things, sometimes they get more work than anything else.

I use my forks the most as well. Makes cutting and splitting wood easier

I chose to use a fork set instead of clamp one for my gc1715. 3 reasons:

1. Using a bucket and clamp one put the closest point to the pins about 15 to 16 inches away. With fork set it's less than inches. The difference is greater load stability staying tight to the pins and tight to a "square back edge".

2. The bucket at 155 pounds plus clamp ons at. . . Say 35 pounds adds up to 80 pounds or more weight than my full fork set.

3. My full fork set can also attach to the 3 point hitch for even heavier loads.

Hi folks. It's been quite some time since I last posted here. I also have a pair of the Titan forks that I purchased direct. I purchased the stabilizer bar at the same time, though I haven't needed to use it yet.

These forks are very strong, and with having another FEL tractor, I can put the forks on either tractor in about 5 minutes. Most of that time is moving the tractor to the place where I store the forks.

I've moved logs, lifted a 125 gallon kerosene tank, replaced an engine in my Simplicity garden tractor, replaced a left rear final drive on my Farmall Cub, and more with ease. I have a lot of tools, but these are so handy I'm surprised I haven't locked them down permanently on one tractor or another.

BTW Axlehub, good to see you around again. I hope all is well out your way.

How are those Titan forks working for you guys? I made some wooden forks for my GC1715, but I'm now looking for something stronger. I don't need to spend $800 on the quick attach forks, as the $130 Titan forks will work just fine for me.

I'm still using mine whenever I need them. I just had a Woods RDC54 delivered to my property via Southeastern truck lines. The driver didn't have a Tommy lift, but I had the Titan forks already mounted on a tractor's FEL. In less than 10 minutes the finish mower was out of the trailer, and the driver was on his way with a huge smile on his face. He told me, "We need someone like you at every stop. That was just too easy. Now, I can make it home in time for supper and today is Friday." I guess that says it all. ;)
