Wow, this turned out better than I thought. Got these front turf tires from my local TSC store delivered in 3 days at a great price and had them installed at a local tractor service shop. After running these front turf tires in mowing mode I can tell already they will be far less aggressive on tearing up the lawn than the R4's that were on the front. I've also found no issues in the muddy woods so far with traction likely because these turf tires are new where my R4's were older. I did run mulch loads in the loader and was also please to see that these front turf tires could take the load.
Tractor looks a bit odd with turf on the front and R4's on the rear but for less than $150.00 with mounting for the fronts it was well worth it. Just wish the rears were not so expensive, but for now I can manage just fine. Should have done this sooner. Thanks for the original posting.
