Mush to my surprise, there will be no trusses.

The tables are being framed and will be lifted soon. The garage area has been started to be cleared but the skidder got stuck and will finish soon.

So the detached garage has yet to be started and with the road bans in the area on til a few more weeks, it doesn’t look like the garage will be done til late May.

Here’s the latest on the house. The plywood is receiving stone on the columns and corner of garage along with Azek trim.

I'm always curious about builder's methods, not critical. Ask why they are trimming before they paint the walls?

I'm anxious to see the stone work!!!

I agree I had expected priming to be done first as well. We’ve had communication issues with the gc so I’ll be at the site early this week while the guys are there and I will ask them. I can only guess that they’ll prime the casings along with the walls as they will be painted eventually.
