Time marches on. The concrete is still annoying me, but now is the time to decide what to do. I'm going to fill the low spots of the floor with self-leveling concrete, then probably gently grind the entire floor to get rid of the sealant and then the epoxy goes down.
The electrician is steadily working, and hopes (plans) to be done this weekend. He's pretty much finished with the wire runs, has the panel in and wired up, and still has left to do the outside lights other than the floods. The panel is a work of art, I'll take pics when I get home. He told me that I'm way underutilized on my wire runs. I have currently 15 breakers, majority of which are 110v 20a, plus a couple of 240v. At that, I still have 15 empty slots in the panel for future upgrades. On the wall that'll have my benches, he put 4 separate 20a circuits, each with ~5 duplex outlets (one run of outlets is above the bench tops, one below) I can draw 80a at my bench! whoo hoo, never have to worry about tripping a breaker by running two tools at the same time. Put a garage door opener in on the big door, the others will remain manual. Picked up a belt drive opener from Lowe's, good price and very quiet, easy installation. I strongly considered going with the I-drive model that's meant to go with these doors, but don't like the lack of down pressure when closed. Oh, the one I installed also has a built-in battery backup. Very nice, will supposedly give 2 days of normal operation on battery.
