New garage time!

I had to hang Tyvek by myself on a 12 foot wall. I didn't want to move the scaffold every time so I ran the Tyvek up and down instead and taped the joints. It meant that I could completely finish a 10 foot section of wall, tar paper, Tyvek, siding and soffit, and then move the scaffold. As I was working by myself this saved me a lot of time and effort.

It's such a mundane task. And such an important task. Your pics show you the value of Tyvek. Hang in there. Do it right.

It was actually really easy after the sun set, we could see the studs through the gaps so we knew where to nail.

On my 2nd flooring, dropped ropes from the soffits, attach tyvek to long 2x4, and pull it up like a curtain. Once pulled up, climbed ladder to staple it on. At top, reached over wall top to fasten.

On the last section on the back wall I came up with this ingenius idea. It saved so much time vs ladders and pump jacks, and we could have used it for the second floor as well. Kicking myself a bit but lesson learned.

10' section of all-thread, plate and bolt at the bottom, board on top. One on the roof sliding it along, and holding the top, another hanging over stapling the top. Then went back with the 24' aluminum ladder and went around and stapled the bottom. No need to hold a heavy long roll of tyvek. And I adjusted the bolt so it would line up perfectly with where we needed it.

Got the doors installed. Miserable weather and it's going to get worse so just in time i guess. Garage doors are 2 weeks out yet. Can't wait to get them installed. I need to do some organizing, stuff is laying everywhere.

Decided to do the siding first, then the roof, so we're not up on a metal roof trying to put siding up.

Metal roof, all the trim and soffits, and siding have been ordered. I’m not stopping for the winter.

Oh, I didn't realize you don't even have the roof material yet. I thought by your post that you "chose" to do the walls first.
